How It Works: Frequently Asked Questions

(1) Charging Cord (USB)

(1) Packing of Ear Tips (3 sizes)

(1) Cleaning Brush

How to Use?

Adjusting to your hearing aids takes time, and top audiologists recommend allowing at least three weeks for your brain to adapt. To ease this transition, follow this gradual adjustment schedule:

Week 1: Begin by wearing your hearing aids for 1-2 hours per day while going about your normal routine at home. This helps your ears get used to the sensation. It's normal to experience some irritation or discomfort at first.

Week 2: Start wearing your hearing aids outdoors, gradually increasing usage to 3-4 hours per day. As your ears adjust, you’ll begin noticing subtle sounds you may not have heard before.

Week 3: By now, you should feel more comfortable using your hearing aids in various settings. You’ll be able to engage in conversations at any volume—whether at a bustling restaurant or in the workplace. At this stage, your hearing aids will feel like a natural part of your daily life.

By following this schedule, you’ll ensure a smooth and comfortable transition to improved hearing!

How do I Install Tips?

The easiest way to install your ear tips on to your hearing aid is to flip them inside out and then insert them onto the device. The small lip will secure them in place and you may need to twist them slightly as you place them on the hearing aid.

Once they're securely in place you can flip the ear tips right side out and insert the hearing aid in your ear.

Important: Choosing the right ear tip size is critical to reduce feedback or whistling and to make sure you're getting the most optimal sound from your Oricle hearing aid.

How do I turn it off and on?

Oricle 2.0:
Press and hold the button on your hearing aid for two (2) seconds to turn each hearing aid on and off.

Oricle Pro:
Press and hold the button on your hearing aid for four (4) seconds to turn each hearing aid on and off.

How to Change Volume?

Oricle 2.0:
The Oricle 2.0 has five (5) volume levels. Each press of the button will cycle through the volume levels. Press the button to increase the volume. You will hear a beep each button press.

Oricle Pro:
The Pro model has six (6) volume levels. Each press of the button will cycle through the volume levels. Press the button to increase the volume. You will hear a beep each button press.

When you reach the maximum volume you will hear three (3) beeps. Pressing the button again will turn volume to the lowest level.

How do I clean my Hearing Aids?

Clean the charging contacts on the case and the hearing aids with a simple wipe of a cloth.

Remove the ear tips from the device and use the included brush to remove wax and debris from the device.

Ear tips should be replaced at least monthly to avoid ear wax building up in the device and for ear hygiene.

How do I charge the Battery?

Its easy! Make sure your hearing aids are inside of the charging case. Next, connect your charging case to the charging cord. From there plug the other side of the charging cord into a USB charging cube.

You'll see orange lights on your charging case once its plugged in. Once your hearing aid is 100% charged you'll see green lights on your charging case.
